The thermal response test (TRT)

The thermal response test (TRT) ikona zamknięcia

The thermal response test (TRT) allows to obtain basic information on the quality of the rock mass in terms of the heat exchange process and the quality of a borehole heat exchanger. We conduct comprehensive TRT studies throughout the country, using mobile measuring equipment of our design. Tests are carried out on borehole heat exchangers of various designs, the operating time depends on the design parameters of the well and ranges from 48 to over 100 hours.

geoenergetics analyze

geoenergetics analyze ikona zamknięcia

The AGH Laboratory of Geoenergetics conducts detailed geothermal energy analyses based on the research of soil medium and data from drilled boreholes. The purpose of such analysis is the determination of the required number, depth, and location of borehole heat exchangers for the consumer's needs. These parameters depend on the amount of heat and/or cold demand of the energy consumer.

Forecasting the exploitation of geothermal waters

Forecasting the exploitation of geothermal waters ikona zamknięcia

The Laboratory of Geoenergetics has a license for the TOUGH2.0 numerical simulator, which enables modeling the geothermal reservoir exploitation in terms of pressure changes, temperature changes, and mineralization. Based on the created deposit models, it is possible to forecast future exploitation.
